It takes two . . .Two summers ago, Sutton District Nurse Suzanne adopted Woody (formerly Woodhouse) from TCR - but recently decided it was time for another. A mate to share Woody’s life – it might even stop him being so greedy! The vet was always telling Suzanne he ‘really needed to lose weight’. So she bought him a ‘timed feeder’ for when she was out and about on her district, but he somehow smashed the code within the first day. And all his rations were gone.
So Suzanne checked the TCR website, saw Greta and fell in love. But would it all have a happy ending? Well, she adopted Greta (now Jess) – a pretty black and white girl – and has sent us this photo to show how they have taken to one another. TCR love it when integration goes so well. It doesn't always work, but when it does it's a purrfect result. Paws crossed that having a younger play-mate will help Woody get slim, trim and fit ! |

Nigel/Rolo's New Start!NIGEL was one of a litter of kittens brought into us at Easter. Here he is in his new home and just look at the transformation since that adoption! What a happy chappy he looks.
Nigel has been renamed Rolo and Rebecca tells us he's made good friends with the family's resident cat Cookie and that her little girl adores him too. What a great result. We wish Rolo and his new family much happiness ! |
