TRAP NEEDED - CAN YOU HELP?TCR is involved in Capture, Neuter and Release and, as such, we work with residents and businesses where there are feral cats to trap them, take them to the vets to be spayed/neutered and then if the cat is believed to be too feral for rehoming, we release them back to their home turf.
The process of trapping has to be done with diligence. Traps need to be set and checked regularly to ensure the cat isn't unduly stressed. This can take days, or sometimes weeks - with very cautious ferals. So our two traps are nearly always out and set to work. Recently we have been turning trapping jobs down because we simply don't have the traps available. If you would like to donate a couple of £'s of your hard earned cash to help us raise enough to buy an extra trap, then please follow this link and use the 'donate' button. We would ideally like to have a new trap up and running by March - pre-empting the spring "activity" and hopefully preventing litters of outside kittens. Thank you!!! |
