About Us

MISSION STATEMENT
Established in 1999, we are a local to Birmingham self-funded charity.  We are well-respected for our work in neutering, rescuing and re-homing abandoned and needy cats and kittens.  We work closely with our local  vets  to ensure that all the cats in our care are given the best possible start.  This includes a health check, vaccinations and neutering (age permitting).
Our main objective is neutering, helping people on a low income to get their cats neutered.  Trapping feral cats, getting them neutered, flea/worm treated and health checked.  Re-homing stray and abandoned cats and kittens -

NEUTERING

Our main objective is neutering, helping people on low income to get their cats neutered, trapping feral cats and getting them neutered.

In addition to reducing the ever increasing number of unwanted cats and kittens, neutering also has many benefits.

FOSTERING

Our dedicated team of volunteer Fosterers fulfill a vital role within Team Cat Rescue (TCR) and we are always looking for new volunteers to join us.

Fostering a cat can be one of the most rewarding experiences you may have.  Our Fosterers provide a safe and loving environment for abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens as well as giving them the space and time they may need to prepare for their permanent forever homes.

If you are interested in learning more about the role, please read our Ways To Help section above.

REHOMING

When you adopt one of the cats in our care, you can be sure that he/she has been neutered/spayed (unless too young), has received flea/worming treatments and undergone a general health check.

To view the cats currently waiting for their forever homes, please see our
Cats In Our Care section above.

If you are interested in adopting one of the cats currently available, you can learn more about the process via our Adopting A Cat section above.
